Hypnosis has been around for thousands of years. Egyptians used it in their Sleep Temples to cure people of illnesses, phobias and many other concerns they had.

Hypnosis went through a period in history that made it "Mystical" and associated it with "Black Magic" thinking it was "mind control". Science has disproven this notion, which is why hypnotherapists are not licensed.

Hypnotherapists may be thought of as "guides" or individuals who can help you achieve a hyper-suggestible relaxed state, so that your subconscious will readily accept positive suggestions.

No one will ever reveal deep dark secrets, nor do anything under hypnosis that they wouldn't do otherwise, because people in hypnotic states are fully aware.

I personally believe, because the success of hypnosis depends on how strong your desire for success is, guarantees cannot be offered.

To offer a guarantee is to suggest that I control your mind. I am not that talented so I offer no such guarantees. What I can do is assure you that I will take the time needed to make you feel comfortable and relaxed with me, so that our meetings will not only be enjoyable, but promote more successful sessions.

Services

These services are not licensed by the state. The services do not include the practice of medicine, psychology, or any other licensed healing art since we are not licensed physicians.

Hypnosis

Hypnosis is a particular altered state of selective hyper-suggestibility brought about in an individual by the use of a combination of relaxation, fixation of attention, and suggestion.

A new learning experience based on your desired results such as relaxation, motivation, quitting smoking, losing weight, etc.

It is not mind control, sleep, state of unconsciousness, nor loss of self-control.

Past Life Regression

Through hypnosis, one can explore possible past lives to resolve issues in your current life that may have been unresolved then, but affect you now.

Pain Management

Through hypnosis, and with a doctor's recommendation, one can learn to control their pain with various techniques such as touch and mental imagery.

Life Counseling

This does not deal with mental illnesses that require the services of a licensed expert, or require medication, but rather deal with the day-to-day annoyances of "life" and in decision making.

Paranormal

Offering paranormal consultation, discussions and referral to appropriate resources if necessary.

Janice M. Todd C.C.Ht

Janice has vast experience in counseling in a clinical setting. She has worked for the State of California in Mental Health, Stanislaus County Mental Health, Tulare Kings Emergency Services as a Crisis Worker, and currently working part time, on-call for Doctors Behavioral Health Center in Modesto, California. Also included in her experiences are Massage Therapy (trained but not certified), healing, channeling, tarot reading, and has displayed various psychic abilities as an empath and clairvoyant.

To her credit, she has published several poems and is the author of "Quality Time for Dad", a self help book for the single father.
